Best Tree House in Jibhi: A-Frame Glass Cabins Near the Market
Oct 29, 2026
Jibhi is the kind of place people mean when they say “somewhere quiet in the mountains”. Wooden houses, pine and deodar forest, a stream somewhere nearby, and almost no crowds. Stay up in the trees and it gets even better. If you’re looking for the best tree house in Jibhi, the A-Frame Glass Treehouse Cabins are a strong place to start: a duplex glass-fronted A-frame surrounded by forest, with a hammock, a bonfire, candlelit dinners on request, and the river just a five-minute walk downhill.
Why This Is the Best Tree House in Jibhi
Jibhi works because it’s small. There are no big resorts, no traffic, and the forest is never far. A treehouse puts you right in it. You wake up to the trees, drink your tea with the valley in front of you, and spend the evening by a fire without needing to go anywhere.
The glass A-frame design adds to that. Instead of looking at the forest through a small window, the cabin is open to it, so the light, the mist and the green are part of the room.
The location helps too. The cabins are just 800 m before the main Jibhi market, so you get forest quiet with cafes and shops close by. And when you want the water, the river is only a five-minute walk downhill.

Candlelight Dinner for Two
Celebrating an anniversary, a honeymoon or just a weekend away together? We can set up a candlelight dinner at the cabin. Candles, soft lighting, the forest in the background and a table for two in the outdoor dining area, with no restaurant noise and no rush.
It’s a simple way to make the evening feel special. Let us know when you book, and we’ll arrange it for the night you choose.
A Day in Your Cabin
Mornings are slow. Make a cup of tea, take it to the sitting area or the hammock, and watch the mist lift off the valley. You don’t need an alarm, and you don’t need a plan.
Afternoons are for exploring (more below) or for doing nothing at all. Walk down to the river, which takes about five minutes, dip your feet in and walk back up for lunch at the outdoor dining area if the weather’s kind.
Evenings are for the bonfire or a candlelit dinner. When the temperature drops, the heating and hot water inside make sure you stay comfortable after you’ve warmed up outside.
What to Do Around Jibhi
The river. Five minutes downhill from the cabin. Sit by the water, paddle or just listen.
Jibhi Waterfall. About 1 km from the village, reached by an easy forest walk with wooden bridges along the way.
Chehni Kothi. A watchtower over 300 years old, about 7 km from Jibhi, with traditional Himachali architecture and the Shringa Rishi Temple along the way.
Jalori Pass. About 12 km from Jibhi, around 3,200 m, with big views over the mountains.
Serolsar Lake. An easy-to-moderate trek of about 5 km one way from Jalori Pass, taking 2 to 3 hours through oak forest to a sacred lake.
Raghupur Fort. A short trek from Jalori Pass with wide meadow and mountain views.
Who It Suits
Couples, for a romantic stay with privacy, a view and a candlelit dinner.
Small groups and families of up to four per cabin, or eight if you book two.
Remote workers and slow travellers, who want quiet and fresh air.
Nature lovers and trekkers, with Jalori and Serolsar close by.
Getting There
The nearest airport is Bhuntar, near Kullu, about 60 km from Jibhi. Most visitors arrive by road from Delhi or Chandigarh via Mandi and Aut. If you’re coming from Shimla, you cross Jalori Pass, but the pass can close in winter because of heavy snow, so the route via Mandi is the safer option then.
Best Time to Visit
March to June: pleasant weather and green forest.
July to September: monsoon. It’s lush, but heavy rain can disrupt the roads, especially on the Jalori stretch.
October to February: crisp and cold, ideal for bonfire evenings. Jalori Pass is usually open March to December, with occasional snow in December.
Good to Know
Candlelight dinner: available on request, so mention it when you book.
The walk to the river: it’s a short downhill walk, so the way back is uphill. Wear sturdy shoes.
Stay length: two nights is the minimum to relax, and three or four lets you see Jalori, Chehni and the waterfall.
Booking: choose your dates and guest count on the listing page and pay online.
Packing: warm layers, even in summer evenings, and good walking shoes.
