Pet-Friendly 3 BHK Farm Villa with Open-Air Movie Lounge, Fire Pit, Cabana & Landscaped Garden

An arched, lime-washed gateway opens onto an acre of farmland where coconut palms lean over clipped lawns and low-pitched roofs settle quietly among the trees. The air carries the cool, easy weather that Bengaluru's northern countryside is known for, and the Makalidurga ridge rises somewhere beyond the treeline. The gate closes, and the city stops mattering.

Inside, the design is unapologetically bohemian. River-stone arches frame one bedroom wall, exposed brick warms another, and hand-troweled ochre plaster catches the light throughout the day. Woven rattan pendants hang from soaring rafters, sculpted alcoves hold curated ceramics and brass, and a wall of organic-shaped mirrors throws light across the plum-toned seating below.

Three king-bedded rooms open to farm view through full-height glass, each with its own sit-out for a slow first coffee and a book left face down. The bathrooms are an event in themselves: a freestanding tub set against raw brick, an open-to-sky shower ringed by planters, twin stone basins under arched niches lit by warm sconces.

Outdoors is where the day settles. Breakfast is laid on a long wooden table under a rafter roof, afternoons drift by in a cocoon swing or on a picnic rug beside the lily pond, and evenings gather around a sunken fire pit or inside the conical-roofed cabana. Upstairs, a covered terrace lounge with hanging daybeds and a projector turns nightfall into a screening under open sides and forest air.

This is a getaway built for families and close friends who want lawn parties, milestone celebrations and unhurried weekends within easy reach of the city. Makalidurga Fort and its hiking trail lie 15 km away, with Gundamagere Lake, Avalabetta viewpoint, Skandagiri, the Isha Adiyogi statue and the Nandi Hills sunrise point all within a comfortable morning's drive.

Note - The villa is surrounded by lush greenery, so occasional insect sightings are to be expected.
