Set along Bharari road, on a quiet shoulder of the hill just above Shimla's busier lanes, this apartment carries the unhurried rhythm of an old hill-station home. Deodar and pine stand close to the windows, the valley opens out beyond, and the air stays cool and clean throughout the day. The town is near enough to walk back into, yet far enough that the traffic never follows you home.
The bedroom is generously proportioned and quietly British in character, with a king-sized bed dressed for cold nights, a heater keeping the room warm, and soft lamplight pooling over the bedside tables. Large windows frame the ridgeline, and the private balcony just beyond tends to become the favourite corner of the stay: a chair, a cup of tea, and the hills changing colour as the afternoon turns.
Arrival sets the tone: a warm reception and lobby where someone is always on hand, and where the day's plans get made over a cup of tea before anyone heads out. Indoors, the living space is built for long, slow evenings. Deep sofas gather around the centre of the room, music plays gently in the background, and heaters keep the chill at the door while the light fades over the valley. The dining table nearby is laid for shared meals, with an in-house chef preparing dishes from a menu.
Evenings often move outdoors, where a bonfire can be arranged for a night spent under a clear mountain sky. Indoor games fill the hours between wanders through the bazaar, and the whole property has the easy, lived-in warmth of a house where nobody is in a hurry.
It suits couples and solo travellers after a restful mountain break with the town still close at hand. The Ridge sits a short drive away, while Jakhoo Temple, Kufri and Naldehra Golf Course are all within comfortable reach for day trips into the surrounding hills.
Note: There are multiple units at this property. The layout and interiors may vary based on availability at the time of allotment.
